His diverse coaching journey includes coaching stints at the University of Montana, Carroll College, Northern Arizona University and Stanford University.

Professionally, Dias competed on four continents, including stints in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the Columbus Crew in 2004 and in the United Soccer League (USL) with teams like LA Blues, Miami FC, and Virginia Beach Mariners. He also played abroad in India for Eagles FC Kerala and Salgaocar SC in 2013, and in Spain.
